#MondayMemories Dolphins

On this day 18 years ago, my husband and I gathered our family for a small outdoor wedding ceremony. The location sat along an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico, providing a scenic view for our venue. After celebrating with our family, my husband and I wandered over to a bench overlooking the water. We chatted and watched the soft waves go by as we noticed something surfacing. A few dolphins popped their dorsal fins out of the water maybe 10-15 feet out from us, the water glistening on their smooth, gray backs. Both of us adore dolphins, and the sighting offered us positive sign for the future. To this day, we still marvel over the dolphins granting us their blessing on a warm and sunny afternoon.
