#ThankfulThursday Virtual Learning Option

Today marks the first day of school for my children, and thankfully the school district is offering a virtual learning option to allow parents to make the best decisions for their family’s individualized needs. Because my husband has auto-immune disorders and takes a weekly biologic injection, the safest course of action for our family is to continue avoiding large gatherings. I’m thankful my children will be able to gather around the kitchen table for school time and access class materials from a laptop. My class schedule will afford me the opportunity to offer assistance with academic questions, and my husband’s conditions offer the presence of an adult staring at them as needed. (Apparently, this is a thing for our kids — they need to feel like they are being watched in order to do the work!)
