I had been working at the University of Florida’s Materials Science and Engineering department as a secretary, which was right across the street from the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Since I commuted by bus, I normally walked to a stop that took me straight home; however, this day was different. I loved taking pictures of wildlife and scenery, so I carried my camera with me. While sitting waiting for the bus, I noticed football players suited up leaving practice. That’s when my eyes spotted the one and only Tim Tebow, flanked by the Pouncey twins. I scrambled for my camera and snapped a few shots to show my family — pics or it didn’t happen, as the saying goes. I noticed one of the Pounceys shoot me a dirty look, but I didn’t care. My detour for the evening was rewarded with a perfect photo opportunity.
