Last week I completed my Blackboard training and earned certification to teach web-enhanced and online courses. I picked up a second class for the spring semester, which will be completely web-based. This week I hope to begin the process of loading content to the courses’ web-shells in preparation for January. I remember what appealed most to me during my Master’s studies, therefore I intend to bring such streamlined organization to my classes.
I now have experience with the Moodle, Canvas, and Blackboard LMS delivery methods, and I am more than confident I can quickly absorb the knowledge of any other learning management system. To be quite honest, I think dabbling in website design and blogging rewired my brain to pick up such technologies so readily. While I understand how some people struggle to learn the basics, I appreciate the generation I was raised in and the immersive nature of technology.
