#ThankfulThursday Building My C.V.

This week I am thankful for a second adjunct opportunity falling into place. With each additional appointment I receive, I build a record of experience in academia. I may intend to pursue my PhD in English specializing in the digital humanities as of next August, but I wanted the opportunity to teach at the college level before taking that next logical step. The road ahead may contain obstacles, but this second adjunct position reassures me that I have chosen the right path. I am so grateful to the institutions that have given me the chance to prove myself and gain experience.
